Iredell Living Magazine Cover Story

“We’ve been a part of the Statesville Montessori School family through our four children, the youngest now a sixth grader,” Sriyani Hatharasinghe told me enthusiastically.  “When I dropped my kids off there, I never worried.  They all have really good study habits that they learned at SMS – I never had to tell them to do their homework!”

Summer Camps @ SMS

We are pleased to offer a summer program for Statesville Montessori Pre-Primary and Primary students (Three year olds through rising 3rd Graders)! This summer program is quite popular with the children! After all, summer time is fun time!  Click here for more info.

SMS also offers an Art Camp for grades 1-8!  We provide a fun, educational and creative experience for your child.  Click here for more info!

Beta Club

Statesville Montessori has just been named a National Beta Club School of Distinction. The banner will be on display at the school.  Congratulations to the students and staff on this honor!

Shoes for Yokefellow Ministry

Anjallie Hatharasinghe is collecting shoes for Yokefellow Ministry as part of her community service project.  Yokefellow can make use of new, gently used, and even old, torn shoes.  There will be a large bin in the gym for donations.  This project is ongoing throughout the year.

Bi-Lo Educational Rewards

Do you have a Bi-Lo rewards card? If so, please sign up for the educational rewards program here.  The Statesville Montessori School code is 54909.  Throughout the year, the points we accumulate can be redeemed for free educational items from Bi-Lo’s catalog. They have everything from books and art supplies to computers and sports equipment. If there is something not shown in the catalog, Bi-Lo will even research the item and convert it into points!
